Scope: Site Planning, Gabion Wall Design, Signage, Landscape, and Irrigation.
Description: JC Wright Lighting is a corporate office and warehouse facility that provides a modern open studio space that showcases specialty lighting products. Elevated above the vibrant University District, the building features plenty of natural daylight, providing a healthy work environment for employees. The exterior landscape embraces the basalt formations upon which facility is built.

More Details:
Site retaining walls consist of a harmonious balance of concrete and gabion baskets filled with fractured basalt cobble. The northern property line is guarded by a historic hand stacked basalt wall which was preserved and integrated into the site development. Vertical Corten steel panels are integrated into the landscape along the entry drive and when lit, provide a curious element in the night.
